 Plan, manage, monitor and coordinate the entire construction phase

From the initial Construction Phase Plan to assisting the Designers with their Health and Safety File.

Take account of the health and safety risks to everyone affected by the work (including members of the public), in planning and managing the measures needed to control them 

Liaise with the client and principal designer throughout the whole duration of the project and ensure that all risks are effectively managed.

 Prepare a written Construction Phase Plan before any construction works begins, implement, and then regularly review and revise it to make sure it remains fit for purpose.

Ensure appointed contractors have the skills, knowledge, experience and, where relevant, the organisational capability to carry out their work safely and without risk to health.

Have ongoing arrangements in place for managing health and safety throughout the construction phase. 

Consult and engage with workers about their health, safety and welfare 

Ensure suitable welfare facilities are provided from the start and maintained throughout the construction phase .

Ensure all workers have site-specific inductions and any further information and training they require.   

Take steps to prevent unauthorised access to the site. 

Liaise with the principal designer to share any information relevant to the planning, management, monitoring and coordination of the pre-construction phase. 

We can provide CDM advice to all duty holders to ensure compliance with the CDM 2015 Regulations and offer assistance to draft key documents including; the pre-construction information pack and construction phase plan.

A CDM Advisor can fulfil the role of the "competent person" the role is central to any construction project. They provide the client and principal designer with sound competent advice on construction design processes, risk mitigation, best practice health and safety application and current legislation. 

They assist with all statutory requirements, ensuring that construction projects fully adhere to all health and safety regulations.

 We offer a complete turn-key service from initial site set up to project commissioning and hand over.

All our Site Agents are; SMSTS and NEBOSH qualified and have conducted training in first aid, mental health, scaffolding, confined spaces and temporary works.

Installation of site offices and welfare that comply with legislation and maximise contractor performance.

Establishing site boundaries and maintaining its integrity to ensure activities conducted are controlled, unintrusive and deter unauthorised access.

Establish a Traffic Management Plan and provide safe access and egress for contractors and visitors.

Review Risk Assessed Method Statements

(RAMS)

and assist with approval onto sites.

Deliver Site Inductions and Toolbox Talks Daily briefings,  Audits and Inspections.

Identifying any problems with on-site work activities and providing a solution.

Act as the first point of contact for members of the public and sub-contractors. 

Recording of all health surveillance (HAVS, noise surveys) and ensuring the welfare of contractors is at the forefront of all work conducted.
